    Funnel Chart
    In This Topic

The Funnel chart is similar to a Stacked Percent Bar Charts with only one category. It represents 100% of the summary values for the data items included in the chart. Funnel Charts are often used to represent stages in a sales process and show the amount of potential revenue for each stage. This type of chart can also be useful in identifying potential problem areas in an organization’s sales processes.

Multiple series are not supported by funnel charts. That is why only one series is created which takes the properties of the first values data grouping displayed in the Funnel chart area. Additional series just append values to this series. Each data point supports a Value and a Label value. Following is a description of the funnel chart settings:

     Settings

Neck Width Percent - specifies the width of the funnel neck, in percents of the total funnel width. Accepts values in the [0;50] range.

Neck Height Percent - specifies the height of the funnel neck, in percents of the total funnel height. Accepts values in the [0;50] range.

Point Gap - controls the size of the gap between the data points.

Label Mode - defines the labeling method used to annotate the data points. Possible values are:
Center - data labels are placed at the center of the funnel segments
Right - data labels are placed on the right side of the funnel segments
Right Aligned - data labels are placed on the right side of the funnel segments and are aligned in a single column.
Left - data labels are placed on the left side of the funnel segments
Left Aligned - data labels are placed on the left side of the funnel segments and are aligned in a single column.

     Automatic Data Labels Positioning
The automatic positioning of data labels in funnel charts is simply ignored, because there is a specialized funnel label mode.
     Automatic Legend Mode
The automatic legend mode evaluates to data points (e.g. the series data points are displayed in the legend).
